Note : I forgot to mention a concern about this paper. They assume that in a stream, the deviation at each point is the same. I am not sure how general that is. Though on the other hand I felt, since the source of a stream is usually same, this assumption is right. (they have used this assumption just below the Figure 3)

Welcome,

This wiki is mainly for me to maintain any random notes. Sometimes I also use it to write things which might be useful for others. But in general its just for me. So unless there is a link from my webpage to some article on this wiki, this is going to be a useless place for you. :)

What needs to be done:

Suppose that there are 'n' nodes namely n_1, n_2, \ldots n_n. Now each node is willing to donate s_i storage and b_i bandwidth.

	* Commit Protocol
 * We can use any general commit protocol, but the problem is each node wants to donate different storage size (s_i) and each node wants to donate a different amount of bandwidth (b_i). How do we deal with that in a commit protocol?
 * How to deal with the possibility that nodes might be going off and on.
 * And how do…
